Honestly, we strongly recommend taking the full AI for Products series, especially those who work daily with or around "product" in any business environment — freelancers or internal teams!

The full series covers AI integration across the complete product management lifecycle: customer research → product discovery → product planning → product metrics → product strategy → stakeholder management. Each micro-course covers a single stage and allows learners to dig into how AI can impact, support and enhance the necessary activities within that stage.

Plus learners will be eligible for a full AI for Products certification from ICAgile upon successful completion of four micro-credentials, demonstrating an advanced level of knowledge, skill and expertise in AI within product management.

We do strongly recommend you have some experience and familiarity with generative AI models, but extensive experience is not required.

If you've used tools like ChatGPT or other generative/LM models, you'll be fine.

No, you don't necessarily need "product" experience to take the AI for Product Discovery micro-credential.

Some familiarity with the terms, tools and processes of product management and/or basics of innovation/design thinking may be helpful (but not necessary).

Rest assured all of the AI for Products micro-credential courses, including the AI for Product Discover course, follow the same quality assessment and accreditation rigor as other ICAgile-accredited training courses, but are simply broken up into smaller theme-heavy modules.
